Pairs of Shoes!

Shoes for H.O.P.E. is an exciting program that is making a POSITIVE IMPACT around the world. Missions In Motion International Ministries is teaming up with businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals across the U.S. to collect NEW and GENTLY USED shoes for people that do not have shoes. According to a recent poll:

  • The average woman owns about 17 pairs of shoes
  • The average woman wears 3 pairs of shoes regularly; the rest sit in her closet
  • Half of the world lives on $2.50 a day
  • 3 billion people cannot afford food, clothing, or housing
  • People die every day from diseases contracted from not having shoes to wear
  • Over 300 million children do not have shoes to wear
  • Many children are unable to attend school because they do not have shoes

    • Your generous donation of NEW and GENTLY USED shoes can make a difference in the lives of people everywhere, and can possibly save lives. Shoes can be used to prevent the hardship and life-threatening symptoms caused by parasitic infection and soil transmitted diseases. Approximately two billion people worldwide suffer with parasitic diseases that could be prevented by wearing shoes. All donated NEW and GENTLY USED shoes will be redistributed through micro-enterprise partners and used in developing nations for impoverished people to start, maintain, and grow an enterprise to feed, clothe, and house their families.

    Here are the shoes we want:

  • NEW or GENTLY USED PAIRS OF SHOES ONLY – NO SINGLE shoes or shoes with holes or falling apart.
  • CLEAN: Men's, women's, and children's pairs of shoes
  • TYPES: Athletic shoes, sneakers, boots, flats, sandals, dress shoes, loafers, etc.
  • WE CANNOT ACCEPT: Heels, wedges, snow boots, fluffy slippers, or metal cleats.

    Host a Shoe Drive

    Host a Shoe Drive as a Service Project!  Collect NEW or GENTLY USED PAIRS of SHOES for those in need! Join other individuals and organizations that are getting involved in this ”pay-it-forward” concept and getting others involved as well. People love to give you NEW and GENTLY USED PAIRS of SHOES! Please let us know if you would like to be a part of this exciting endeavor of collecting shoes for those who are less fortunate.     at our Warehouse

     Occasionally we host "Shoe Packing Parties" to help us sort, count, and package shoes to get them ready for shipment. This is a great team building opportunity and great for individuals and families! Click here to volunteer.

    Be a Drop off Location

    Missions In Motion International Ministries receives many calls asking where people can drop off their shoes in their local community. As a result, we have developed partnerships with local businesses to provide Shoes for H.O.P.E. drop off locations. Just place one of our collection bins in a visible location at your site, and allow people to drop off their shoes during normal business hours.
